Are you looking for quality advice for your creative business?


The Creative Industries Innovation Centre (CIIC) offers Business Reviews to eligible Australian creative companies, at no cost.

The CIIC is part of Enterprise Connect, an Australian Government program that offers comprehensive advice and support to eligible small and medium sized businesses, to help them transform and reach their full potential.

 

About the Business Review


The business review is a complete diagnostic of your business, taking in all aspects - HR, marketing, finance and strategy. They are conducted by CIIC Business Advisers, located around Australia, who have a solid grounding in business with many years of relevant experience in the creative industries.

 

What value will the Business Review provide?


You get to talk to an expert Business Adviser who understands your industry and your issues.
Your CIIC Business Adviser will work with you to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing your business today and explore pathways for growth.

Whatever business question is on your mind, your adviser will work with you and your team to carry out a health check of your business to identify:

  • Strategic issues
  • Potential areas for business improvement
  • Opportunities for business transformation and sustainable growth
  • Strengths and weaknesses

You may also have potential access to funding after the review is completed through our Tailored Advisory Service (TAS).

Am I eligible?

Creative businesses with a turnover between $1 million and $100 million are eligible for a comprehensive, confidential and independent Business Review. In addition, your small or medium creative business must:

  • Have traded in Australia commercially for at least three years
  • Be currently financially solvent
  • Operate in one of the following creative industries:
    • Music and performing arts Film;
    • television and radio;
    • Advertising and marketing;
    • Software development and interactive content;
    • Writing, publishing and print media;
    • Architecture, design and visual arts.
