CIIC joins forces with Creative Innovation 2010

The Creative Industries Innovation Centre (CIIC) is committed to inspiring and delivering innovation in Australia, which is why it is an endorsing partner of Creative Innovation 2010.

This creative think-tank, which is being presented by Creative Universe and ANZ, will be held at the Melbourne Recital Centre from 8-10th September 2010. The event aims to unlock and share ideas, and to imagine the future. 

CIIC Director of Programs and Partnerships, Adam Blake, said the conference would allow the CIIC to draw attention to the impact that creative companies have on Australia’s innovation economy.

Creative Innovation 2010 is the brainchild of Tania de Jong AM, soprano, thought-leader, speaker, 2006 Australian Social Entrepreneur of the Year and founder of Creativity Australia and Creative Universe.

Tania said, “Creativity is of increasingly strategic value to nations such as Australia in making the transition to innovation and knowledge-based economies. Creativity and innovation are also vital for businesses exposed to globalisation, increasing competition, diversity among consumers and rapidly changing technology.

“Creative Innovation 2010 is about the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and ultimately, the world. This will be an unforgettable creative think tank!” she said.
