As Associate Director, Hael brings substantial knowledge and expertise across the Creative Industries to the CIIC. Hael has more than 30 years experience in film, digital and new media, design and performing arts, experience gained in senior management roles with Lucasfilm’s Industrial Light + Magic and DreamWorks Animation. He was one of the producers for Australia’s Animal Logic on the Oscar winning, animated feature “Happy Feet”.
In the innovation space, Hael is a senior adviser to INDEX: Design to Improve Life in Copenhagen, and a member of the international advisory panel of DesignSingapore. Since 2004, Hael has been involved with Sydney’s emergence as a creative innovation hub, and he is the Chair of Digital Sydney.
