Tamara brings to the CIIC her qualifications and experience in both the creative and professional services sectors. After studying both commerce and the performing arts, Tamara’s career began in the Edinburgh arts scene. During her time in administrative and financial control posts, Tamara gained exposure to the visual arts, and publishing and writing fields and during this time recognised a skills gap common to creative businesses – inhouse financial and business management to support an organisation’s creative aspirations.
Hoping to be able to one day address the gap Tamara left the arts to gain experience and a professional qualification in business and finance, and worked for the global consulting and accountancy firm Deloitte, in London.
Informed by her experience in the professional services sector Tamara now applies her business and numerical skills to the creative industries as Industry Analyst at the CIIC.
Tamara graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Commerce, and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and is an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants England & Wales (ICAEW).
