Are you actively looking for investment for your creative company? Are you struggling or have you already succeeded? Regardless, we want to talk to you.

In fact, some of the key representatives of the Sydney investment community want to talk to you!
 
In May this year the CIIC launched the Creative Industries Investment Chat. This is a series of discussions with early stage investors for the purpose of improving the investment climate in the creative industries.

We would now like to invite 2-3 creative companies and hear about your experience:

• How are you going about your search for investment?
• What will you need the investment for?
• How are you pitching to investors?
• What feedback are you getting?

The expected outcomes of the chat will include:

• Creative companies will get valuable feedback on their approach, which should improve your chances of success going forward
• The investment community will get valuable insights into how creative firms think, which will help us focus our efforts for improvement

We are looking for companies that:

• Have actively tried to find investment, whether successful or not
• Have a commercial mind set with the primary goal of maximizing profit as opposed to running a business with the primary goal of supporting your lifestyle, culture, the arts etc
