What’s the website about?

Creativeinnovation.net.au is all about growing the potential of Australia’s creative enterprises, big and small, across industries as varied as design and architecture through to the performing arts.

 

Who created it and why?

The CIIC represents the first federal government industry investment of its kind to provide specific and practical business services and resources for those working in the creative industries - such as designers, content producers, artists, filmmakers or architects (to name but a few relevant fields).

 

What can I find?

Creativeinnovation provides a wide range of useful resources to help you grow your creative business or idea, all in one place.

Through our Business section, you can access national business development services and tailored business resources, on topics ranging from intellectual property to digital strategy, provided by Australia’s leading commercial and industry organisations.

In our Features section, you can read inspiring stories of companies working at the forefront of their industries and interviews with entrepreneurs who are growing creative business in new ways.

 

Why is this site important?

CIIC Director, Lisa Colley, says that showcasing the work of those in the creative industries will enable a wider contribution to new business ideas and services, which will help to grow Australia’s innovation economy.
